Maritime Academy of Asia and the Pacific (MAAP) Scholarship


Admissions and Scholarships






Qualification Requirements:




  • Male or female, Single
  • Natural Born Filipino
  • Physically fit
  • Morally upright and has no derogatory record
  • Born from 31-Mar-1995 to 01-April-2000
  • Eligible applicants must be any one of the following
  • High School Graduates of the old basic education curriculum on or before June 2016
  • College Students under the old higher education curricula
  • A Senior High School student expected to graduate at the end of School Year 2017-2018 from any strands of the Academic Track and Maritime Track.
  • Must be coming from either of the following strands, GAS (General Academic Strand), STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Strand), ABM (Accountancy, Business and Management) and HUMMS (Humanities and Social Sciences Strand)
  • Minimum height of 5 ft. 4 in. (162.5 cm) for MALE and 5 ft. 2 in. (157.5 cm) for FEMALE applicants
  • Has a GPA of at least 83%
  • Has never been officially admitted at MAAP


NOTE: Strictly comply with qualification requirements. Inaccurate records may disqualify an applicant.


Procedures



  • Get MAAP scholarship application forms from any of the testing/filing centers, Naval ROTC units, or PCG stations nationwide
  • Submit duly accomplished application form with the requirements to designated filing centers either by mail or in person
  • Receive admission slip either by mail or in person
  • NOTE: Registration time for entrance examination starts at 0630H and ends at 0930H.
